Positions of the speakers?

Where do the speakers have to be positioned in a 7.1 surround system?

There are many ...

… graphics with angle information for setting up speaker systems, which the manufacturers of receivers provide in the operating instructions. However, they do not provide the calculation for a defined room, screen, seating positions, and platform. Calculating the theoretically optimal AND possible positions for a 7.1 surround system for the specific room is one of the most complex tasks in planning a home theater.

Min. distance between rear speaker and ceiling

Screen format:

21:9 = Cinema-/Widescreen Format
16:9 = Series-/TV format

Screen width (visible) (mm):

Valid range: 2000 - 8000 mm

Min. distance to the floor (mm):

Min. distance between the screen frame and the floor.
Valid range: 0 - 2000 mm

Frame width (mm):

A (usually) black border around the visible area of the screen.
