What is the maximum size of a 21:9 screen?

... of the canvas size depends on many factors. The most critical factor is the room size. Also very significant is the "viewing distance/screen width" factor. A range factor of 0.90 to 1.50 is recommended for 21:9 screens. A smaller value means that the distance to the screen is smaller. A range factor of approx. 1.21 would be ideal.

Min. distance to the ceiling (mm):

Minimum distance between the screen frame and the ceiling.
Valid range: 0 - 1000 mm

Min. distance to the ground (mm):

Distance from the visible screen surface to the floor.
Valid range: 0 - 2000 mm

Min. distance to the wall (mm):

Min. distance between the screen frame and the wall.
Valid range: 0 - 1000 mm

Frame width (mm):

A (usually) black border around the visible area of the screen.
Valid range: 0 - 200 mm

Screen frame thickness (mm):

Screen frame thickness.
Valid range: 10 - 100 mm

Factor viewing distance/image width:

The viewing distance in relation to the image width.
Recommendation for 21:9 => 1.21
Recommendation for 16:9 => 1.50
Example:
(Viewing distance: 145.2 inch) / (Image width: 120.0 inch) = 1.21
Valid range: 0,80 - 2,50
