Where do the speakers have to be positioned in a 5.1 surround system?

There are many ...

... graphics with angle information for setting up speaker systems, which the manufacturers of receivers provide in the operating instructions. However, they do not provide the calculation for a defined room, screen, seating positions, and platform. Calculating the theoretically optimal AND possible positions for a 5.1 surround system for the specific room is one of the most complex tasks in planning a home theater.

16:9 = Series-/TV format

Screen width (visible) (mm):

Min. distance to the floor (mm):

Min. distance between the screen frame and the floor.
